This thing just generates your /etc/hosts from /etc/hosts.d/. Its primary purpose is to make organizing adblocker hostfiles just a bit easier, but you could probably find other uses for it.

• python Watchdog(seems to be in the system repos for every distro, you shouldnt have trouble installing it)

1. Download hostscompositor.py, and mark it executable.
2. Edit the HOSTS_D constant to point to wherever you'd like. I personally put my hosts files at /etc/hosts.d.
3. Tell your service manager to run it.
   1. (systemd) Download hostscompositor.service to /etc/systemd/system.
   2. (systemd) Edit it so that ExecStart points to hostscompositor.py.
   3. (systemd) # systemctl daemon-reload && systemctl enable --now hostscompositor
